March is a Busy Month for the Queens Chamber

Here is some of what’s going on in March:
• March 6 – Energy and Environmental Committee Meeting: “Smart Buildings are Smart Business”
This workshop that will provide powerful information on how smart building technology can support your business. Representatives from Con Edison and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), along with implementation experts, will provide concrete information on what New York State is doing to help small- and mid-size business owners reap the benefits of this technology.
• March 6 -New York Knicks and Chambers of Commerce Networking Event
For $50, enjoy an evening of networking at Lavo in Manhattan with all of New York City Chambers of Commerce plus a Knicks game on March 13.
• March 8 – Five Chamber Alliance MWBE Awards
Presented by the Five Chamber Alliance and hosted in Brooklyn for the first time! Our first “Centennial Talk” will feature a conversation on the contributions of Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprises to the boroughs.
• March 9 – Labor Law Seminar
The workshop will provide participants with hands-on techniques to maximize communication skills, which can translate into improved productivity and reduced friction and conflict.
• March 15 – St. Patrick’s Day Luncheon with Guest of Honor NYPD Commissioner James O’Neill
• March 20 – Queens Day in Albany
