There’s something about navigating through the beginning months of a new year that brings great joy, embracing opportunity and the untapped potential that lies ahead. We still have 11 months left in 2022. You should be asking yourself “What will I do with this abundance of time?”
Allow me to make a few suggestions.
Partnering with Queens Chamber is first and foremost in my mind. The talented individuals of our staff have put together a wide array of opportunities designed to impact you professionally. In partnership with Small Business Services and the offices of Speaker Adrienne Adams and Councilwoman Nantasha Williams, the Queens Chamber will host a Community Job Fair at the Harvest Room in Jamaica.
With over 150 career opportunities available at JFK and LaGuardia airports, the MTA, and Parks Department, get on a path for career fulfillment with some of the greatest employers in the city. As a business owner you’re undoubtedly familiar with the impact COVID has had on the community.
Later this month, we’re partnering with the Small Business Administration for the “Business Recovery in the Wake of COVID” virtual event. This webinar will offer information regarding COVID regulations, business recovery plan writing, and exploring new markets. Don’t miss this complimentary presentation featuring Man-Li Lin.
This is simply a snapshot of scheduled programming opportunities made available to you during February. Visit queenschamber.org for details and registration. I love the work I do and I want my energy to rub off on you so you will feel the same. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your continual support of the Chamber.
