I lost my father (and best friend) to pancreatic cancer four years ago. He was a disabled Vietnam veteran, and he and I were planning to become business partners. His dream was to start a cleaning service and a home for disabled veterans.

After taking time to mourn, I began to explore his dream that eventually became mine. I needed a new challenge in life, and I wanted to find a productive way to honor my father’s legacy.

In the fall of 2015, I made the decision to start my own cleaning business. I did not know what that would look like, but after countless hours of research, I decided that a cleaning franchise would offer me the most advantages.

I wanted the support and the benefit of an established brand, but I also understood the importance of a protected territory. My research eventually lead me to Sears Maid Services.
