Important Dates on the Calendar
Does the 18th of this month have any significance for you? If you’re an employee or employer it most certainly should. It’s the 2022 IRS tax deadline to file taxes for 2021. There are a number of resources available to all businesses especially small businesses to assist in the process. As the days wind down towards this deadline make sure you have all your ducks in a row.
Speaking of dates to remember, the Chamber has curated numerous events this month specifically for you to keep your organization on track and forging ahead. From software which will ensure your accounting process is running efficiently to financing to doing business with a leader in the industry, we’ve got you covered.
Days after the tax day on the 20th and 21st we’re hosting a two-part Introduction to QuickBooks being offered. A certified pro advisor will demonstrate how you can sign up and access a 30-day trial version of this online software. This product has proven to be a huge asset for business accounting systems.
In partnership with the US Small Business Administration the Chamber is presents a unique opportunity for your organization to learn what expected when it comes to doing business with the federal government. On the 28th during this hour-long session you’ll learn certification qualifications for Set Aside, marketing to government agencies, and subcontracting to name a few. Presenter Man-Li Lin will walk you through the process.
Next month on the 10th we’ll make our triumphant return to the state Capitol for our annual Queens Day in Albany. During this day long visit we’ll meet and greet with Queens Assembly as well Senate delegation. In addition, tour Legislative Chambers and tour the Capitol. A front row seat to let your voice be heard.
