These are Exciting Times in Queens

The changing of the seasons transforms our minds and provides a fresh new prospective of the community around us. This change reminds me of the redevelopment and rebuilding taking place in Queens.

It’s really an exciting time for the borough. The Willets Point redevelopment project will shift that cityscape from empty lots to affordable housing units, a public elementary school and open space in a new self-contained community.

The $8 billion redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport will give us a 21st century terminal system providing world-class amenities to visitors to our diverse borough and greater NYC area.

This also includes the LaGuardia AirTran to Willets Point, which will create easier access to Citi Field, the 7 train and Long Island Rail Road.

The Belmont Park redevelopment project will create a 435,000-square-foot retail and entertainment complex space and new hotel, making this a world-class sports and entertainment destination.

These major development projects will literally transform the landscape of Queens.

Not only will these billion-dollar projects create new businesses of all sizes, if you’re a business owner be prepared to reap the benefits from the revenue that will be generated from the redevelopment of Queens.
