Fresh Prospectives

BY THOMAS SANTUCCI

In less than 30 days, our routines will shift from the lazy days of summer back into full business mode. Calendars will begin to populate and the thought of facing post-Labor Day traffic will be a reality. As you ponder these thoughts, it is the perfect opportunity to consider fresh new prospectives about how you manage your business operations.

Might I suggest you consider some of these tips as we approach the final months of 2021:

• Prep work – Create a wish list of what you would like to accomplish by December 2021.

• Clarify goals – Access your current position, then set achievable, measurable, and timely goals that align with market opportunities.

• Create benchmarks – Proactively measure everything. This will motivate you to review and analyze.

The Queens Chamber is your primary resource for helping your business thrive, with educational programming designed to keep you informed and on the cutting edge of what’s happening in the business community, such as landlord, parking or zoning issues that would normally hinder your growth. Networking opportunities, many of which are finally pivoting to in person, enable you to grow your contacts and consumer base.

Visit queenschamber.org for events, resources, and more designed to help you thrive. It is my sincere hope you had a wonderful summer thus far, and that you will take my advice to look at fresh new prospectives for your business. On behalf of the entire Board, thank you for your overwhelming support of Queens Chamber.

You are the best part of what we do.
